Another one to cross off our list, Inchmahome Priory is on Inchmahome, the largest of three islands in the centre of Lake of Menteith, close to Aberfoyle, Scotland.
Cathy and Stephen visited on Sunday, 28 August 2016. Its a great location and you have to cross by boat to it. The island is so peaceful and there are some fabulous trees!
The Priory suffered a lot of damage over the winter months and so a lot of it is ‘off limits’ just now while they try to minimise the damage. Hopefully the photos managed to avoid most of the barriers so the views weren’t spoiled.
